<Warning>
  **For teams with custom dashboard queries:** the marker for excluding a table from dashboard filters changed from `$` to `$$`. Ask the person who maintains those queries to update any uses of the old marker. [Update a query’s filter exclusions](/dashboards/filters/ignore-filtering-for-a-given-table).
</Warning>

## New

* **Give a Datasite your own address.** Connect a custom domain and use the setup screen to find the DNS records your domain administrator needs. [Set up a custom domain](/datasites/datasite-custom-domains).

* **Manage Datasite variables.** Keep reusable settings in one place and distinguish public values from secrets used by the site’s protected requests. [Use Datasite variables](/datasites/datasite-variables).

* **Sign in to private Datasites with Google or Microsoft.** Visitors can use these sign-in options when accessing a private site.

* **Connect databases over a private network.** IPsec VPN setup supports secure connections to self-hosted data sources. Your network administrator can use the [IPsec guide](/data-sources/security/ipsec-vpn).

## Improved

* **Return to a Datasite conversation.** Separate chat threads help visitors continue an earlier discussion.

* **Schedule in your timezone.** Automation triggers use the chosen timezone. Dashboards can also reload their data automatically at a chosen interval.

* **Review and undo query edits.** Query history makes it easier to return to an earlier version. [Query Bench](/query-bench/overview).

## Fixed

* A message blocked by an exhausted allowance keeps its draft and attachments so you can send it later.

* Affected dashboard widgets use the correct database instead of showing an incorrect zero result.
