Talk to Supaboard
You can now speak to any AI chatbox in Supaboard instead of typing.- Mic button on every AI composer: Ask AI on dashboards, the Databook analyst, the Query Builder assistant, and the automation copilot all accept voice
- Hold
Tabto talk: hold the key, say what you want, release — your words land in the chatbox, transcribed - Tap
Tabto select what’s already in the box, hold after a tap to replace it, or double-tap to send - Everything is transcribed server-side, so quality no longer depends on your browser
Oracle Database
Oracle is now available as a data source. Connect an Oracle instance from the data sources screen the same way you connect Postgres or Snowflake — schema browsing, the Query Builder, and AI-generated queries all work against it out of the box. Oracle is included in the free connector set, so it’s available on every plan. Read more about connecting data sources hereAutomations: Branches, Paths, and Loops
Automations can now do more than run a straight line of steps.- Branch and Path nodes: split a run into multiple conditional paths and give each one its own sequence of steps
- Collapse paths you’re not working on to keep large flows readable, with automatic re-layout as the flow grows
- Loop nodes were reworked alongside branching, and the automation copilot now understands loops — you can ask it to build one for you in plain language
- Clearer per-run status and step ordering, so it’s obvious which path a run actually took
Scheduled Triggers Respect Your Timezone
Timed triggers are now timezone-aware. A run scheduled for 9:00 AM fires at 9:00 AM in the timezone you picked, including across daylight-saving shifts. The timezone picker now shows standard IANA names, so there’s no ambiguity about which zone you selected. Read more about automations hereCredits and Usage
We reworked how Supaboard tells you about AI credits, and what happens when you run out.- Add Credits dialog: top up your balance directly from the app, starting at $5
- Auto-reload: optionally refill automatically when your balance runs low, so long-running work doesn’t stall
- Inline banners instead of pop-ups: when you’re out of credits, the AI composer you’re actually using tells you so — dashboard Ask AI, Databook, automations copilot, Query Builder assistant, insights, reports, email, records, drill-downs, and the Generate with AI popover
- Your prompt is never lost: a message blocked for credits is restored into the composer, attachments included, so you can top up and send it as-is
- No more toast spam: repeated limit warnings collapse into a single persistent notice with a “buy credits” action
- Actions that would fail for lack of credits, such as Create Report, are now disabled up front rather than failing halfway
Ask AI Reliability
A production audit of the last 30 days of AI conversations turned up several ways a question could quietly go nowhere. All of them are fixed:- Answers that used to come back as an empty bubble (roughly 1 in 8 turns) now always return a response
- Data source permission errors no longer surface as a misleading “question too large” message — you get the real reason
- When the AI hits the same environmental error repeatedly, such as a revoked grant or a dead credential, it now stops retrying and reports the problem instead of burning through steps
- Internal AI-provider messages no longer leak into your conversation
- Long, complex questions no longer time out on the way to the model
Filtering and Sorting in Data Explorer
- New filter popover in the table toolbar: stack multiple conditions across columns, with operators and value inputs that adapt to each column’s type
- Multi-select values on a single condition for enum-style columns
- Improved column sorting from the header dropdown
Databook
- Reworked share dialog with member search, so sharing a Databook with the right people is quicker in larger workspaces
Data Connection Instructions
Standard instructions for a data connection are now managed as individual named rules. Add, edit, reorder, or delete a rule on its own instead of maintaining one long block of text — useful when you want the AI to follow specific conventions for a given database.Dashboard and Charts
- Chart legends render more reliably, including for widgets with many series
- Goal lines, grid lines, legends, and zoom/pan settings moved to consistent toggle-style accordions in the chart editor
- Fixes across the export, embed, and email report panels
- Embedded dashboard filter settings behave correctly when created from the embed panel
- String field formatting options were simplified and expanded in widget settings
- Various UI fixes across the Query Builder schema panel, tools pages, the agent selector, and onboarding
Thank you for using Supaboard. We’re continuously improving the platform to help you explore, understand, and act on your data faster.
