Ask with Agent

After setting up your workspace and adding a data source, you will arrive at Ask Agent. By default we create our default agent called Stella. Stella can give you answers to questions pertaining to your database, provide metrics and more.

Tell me about this data

Stella will query your database, read relevant data points, flag potential anomalies, and give you a holisitic understanding of what is there inside your data. This is one of the easiest way to understand both the capabilities of our agents and a starting point to make Supaboard truly yours. Once you have create your own agents, you can switch between them from the selector in the chat interface.

Create your first Agent

Click on the Agents tab on the sidebar to open the agent explorer page. From here you can create an customise your own agents. From here you can:
  • Configure key aspects of your agent, such as name, what they do (description), whether they should improve themselves as you ask questions to them, etc.
  • Add or remove data sources, scope out what data sources and tables should your agent will have access to.
  • Provide a Master Rulesets that are followed in your business.
  • Add knowledge in form of raw csv, pdfs or docs that provide additional documentation about your business.
  • Granularly control what each of the tables contain.
The “Table Configuration” setting is designed for data analysts to further finetune the agent. If you are unsure, leave them untouched.
Once your agent is setup, you can use it to ask questions and setup your first dashboard, ask questions and so much more.
